Area of Expertise

As the Vice President of LCK, I assist in providing executive leadership for the delivery of project management services across South Carolina. In addition, I manage a diverse portfolio of projects including renovations and new developments for various commercial, industrial, retail and institutional real estate. My expertise in relationship management, team building, budgeting and scheduling allows me to guide projects to successful completion company-wide, fostering a culture of excellence that leads to repeat business. Beyond project management, I participate in the shaping of LCK’s strategic direction, assist with business development initiatives and ensuring consistent quality and performance in the delivery of project management services.

Professional Accomplishments

My experience is broad in both facilities management and construction management which enables me to become a valued adviser and consultant for LCK clients. I have served as Director of a $10MM annual facilities operation in higher education. The scale of the campus included 2.5MM square feet of academic and housing properties over a total of 110 acres. I was responsible for management of a staff of over 220 full-time and part-time employees.

 

Construction management experience includes serving as owner’s representative for projects ranging from $1MM to nearly $120MM in value and in a wide variety of product types. Projects have ranged from administrative and educational facilities to medical, multi-family, municipal bond projects, public works, athletic facilities, central energy plants, and more.

Business and Educational Background

I graduated from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction.

 

My 30-year project management career spans diverse clients and project types, equipping me with the broad expertise to solve complex challenges efficiently. I have worked with many types of clients including municipalities, universities, school districts, churches and private companies.

I have actively contributed to local governance and community development through various board positions while living in Colorado. These roles include serving on the Mesa County Board of Adjustment, the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, long-term involvement with the Mesa County Building Code Board of Appeals and a leadership position with the Mesa County Civic Forum Board of Directors. Additionally, I was involved in the local Rotary Club.

 

Having recently relocated to Columbia, I am eager to apply my extensive experience in civic engagement to contribute meaningfully to my new community.
