Area of Expertise

My efforts at LCK are focused on the early and strategic phases of project delivery. My expertise in due diligence, site analysis, budgeting and cost management is leveraged to accelerate the planning, design and procurement efforts, positioning projects for successful execution.

A clear understanding of each client’s objectives, and maintaining alignment with those objectives throughout the project lifecycle, is fundamental to my success. With schedule, budget and quality serving as primary performance drivers, I proactively identify critical milestones and long-lead items, develop comprehensive budgets and line-item estimates and review progress to ensure client’s expectations are met.

In today’s construction environment, anticipating challenges and implementing thoughtful solutions—without compromising scope or quality—is essential. I prioritize early risk identification and collaborative problem-solving to maintain project momentum and financial discipline.

Serving as the liaison between LCK clients and other project partners, I am responsible for tracking details, communicating expectations and ensuring timely delivery of critical information. I take pride in serving as an owner’s advocate, remaining engaged throughout the process and assuming shared ownership in a project’s success. My strengths in strategic thinking and problem-solving enable me to navigate challenges effectively and keep projects moving forward.

Business and Educational Background

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a major in public relations. This background prepared me to be a thorough and effective communicator in everything I do.

Prior to transitioning to preconstruction, I served as estimator and project manager in the commercial painting industry for 15 years developing a strong foundation in understanding project costs and field implementation.

Personal

I am actively involved in several organizations in the construction industry, having previously held roles including Carolinas AGC - Project SuperVISION committee member, chapter board member for the American Subcontractors Association and chapter president for the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America.

Additionally, I previously served as president and board member of the Business Association of Columbia as well as being an alumni and previous board member of Leadership Lexington County.

I enjoy spending free time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors (boating, biking and hiking), yoga and interior design.
