As a Preconstruction Services Manager, my efforts at LCK are focused on the front-end phases of project management. My expertise in due diligence, site analysis, budgeting and cost management is leveraged to accelerate the successful execution of the planning, design and procurement stages of our projects. ​

In my role, I prepare comprehensive development budgets and line-item estimates with a high degree of accuracy at all phases of a project. Understanding the client’s goals and keeping a project aligned with those goals throughout the process is the key to my success. I know that schedule and budget are the primary focus of every project. In today’s construction environment, it is essential that I quickly identify project milestones and associated long lead items to enable us to conduct early procurements to meet an occupancy deadline. Understanding any cost challenges and uncovering solutions that mitigate those challenges but do not compromise scope and quality are high priorities for me.

I typically serve as the liaison between LCK clients and other project partners. In that role, I am responsible for tracking details, communicating expectations and ensuring deliverables are received distributed on time. I take seriously the role that I play as an owner’s advocate, am highly invested at every step and assume ownership in a project’s success. I also enjoy critical thinking and problem solving to overcome obstacles to keep projects moving forward.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a major in public relations. This background prepared me to be a thorough and effective communicator in everything I do.

My career began as an estimator for a commercial painting company during college and has progressed into a preconstruction specialist in industrial, office, medical and retail development and renovation.
