Area of Expertise
As Director of Project Management Services | Columbia, I utilize my strong managerial experience in leading a team of project managers in the delivery of LCK’s platform of services to clients in the Midlands region.
Additionally, I serve as project leader for significant LCK projects, including the selection and oversight of contractors, architects, engineers and consultants; conducting plan review; monitoring construction in progress; reviewing contract documents; performing punch list inspections; and processing pay requests.
I enjoy meeting and working with individuals from all disciplines of the construction industry, and I have a passion for helping clients through the complexities of the construction process. At LCK, our commitment to quality gives our clients a level of confidence that their needs will be effectively met on time and within their budget.
My background in construction, manufacturing and design provides me a unique frame of reference when considering possible solutions for our clients’ needs. I hold skills in several key areas that have prepared me well for my role at LCK: executive manufacturing management, engineering management, product development, business accounting, customer relations, capital planning, change management, environmental and safety compliance and technology innovation.
Professional Accomplishments
In 2017 I earned Lean Certification, an industry-leading program that provides individuals, companies and educators with a comprehensive and effective roadmap for professional and workforce development that focuses on maximizing productivity and minimizing waste.
Business and Educational Background
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science from Clemson University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Carolina.
I have over 30 years of experience in commercial construction and composites manufacturing. Prior to joining LCK, I worked for a regional construction company serving as a project manager. After less than two years as a Senior Project Manager at LCK, I was promoted to my current role.
Community Involvement
I am involved in fundraising events for our high school athletic booster club and enjoy participating in Project Warm at our family’s church.
In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, metal and wood fabrication, and spending time with family.
