Area of Expertise
As a Project Manager, I oversee LCK projects to include selection and oversight of contractors, architects, engineers and consultants. I conduct plan review, monitor construction in progress, review and approve contract documents, perform punch list inspections and approve and process pay requests. Additionally, I assist with feasibility studies and preliminary budgeting and/or proposals for LCK projects and develop scope and estimates for major building repairs.
Over 12 years of experience within the construction, property, and project management industries has provided valuable skills and allowed me to become a versatile professional with the ability to handle a diverse range of development and construction opportunities. My experience encompasses single-family, mixed-use, commercial, residential and horizontal development, providing my clients a unique and well-rounded perspective.
The most rewarding part of my job is bringing our clients’ vision to life, and doing so with integrity, teamwork, diligence and passion. I have found that financial feasibility, providing clients with a transparent and detailed approach, and doing so in a timely manner with their goals and values in mind, has been of the utmost importance within a real estate partnership.
Business and Educational Background
I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After college, I worked in the insurance field for six years where I was introduced to the commercial real estate industry, specializing in estimating and restoration for residential and commercial losses. I then worked in property and construction management for five years at Palmetto Bluff, a world-class resort and residential community that includes 26,000 acres and an entitled 4,000 residential units.
Most recently, I lived in Charlotte for two years working in real estate development and project management including land acquisition and planning for medical facilities, mixed-use development and a golf course.
Community Involvement
Outside of work, I enjoy supporting the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, spending quality time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and enjoying nature.
