LCK was retained in 2016 to serve as project manager for a phased development plan for the campus. The initial assignment included demolition and construction of a new 29,500 square foot science/laboratory building. LCK’s role as project manager included pre-development planning, procurement oversight, design coordination, construction monitoring and project closeout. LCK also led in FF&E procurements and installation.

LCK managed a two-phase renovation of McNair Hall beginning in April 2011 and ending in August 2012. The renovations took place over two summers and involved 60,500 square feet of space, with each scope being carefully planned to be completed for the respective fall semesters. The projects totaled $1.6 million and were completed on time and within budget.

The assignments have included consulting services for various studies, management of small capital projects and providing facilities maintenance, budgeting and staffing advisory services to the deans for each campus.

Through an IDC for project management services, LCK managed a two-phase renovation of restrooms and showers in the $1-million Stevens Barracks, a 1940s structure. Due to procurement delays, the timeframe within which the first phase had to be completed was severely compromised. Despite the time constraints and challenges of working in an old building, the projects were completed in time for student occupancy for both phases.
